Extracting MV Data into SQL & Excel
PixieExcel and PixieEditor provide just two ways of extracting MV data, and because PixieWeb connects you easier, faster and more reliably to MultiValue data, PixieWeb is the connector component of these PixieWare products.
In its own right, PixieWeb can be used to develop your own solutions for extracting MV data using object oriented programming languages (e.g. VB, VBScript, PERL, Visual FoxPro). PixieEditor™
- Provides an easy-to-use GUI format with its own Windows front-end that connects to several different MV's.
- Has the ability to extract data and send it directly to SQL-Server, MySQL, MS Access or a Windows text file.
- Ability to use scripts to parse data as it is extracted (e.g. expand multivalue).
- A simple, fast, one-step raw data extract process.
- Full screen data and program editing and compile facilities included.
- Explorer style account and file selection facilities.
- Switch to TCL command mode if required.

- Provides an easy-to-use visual front end to Pick from within Excel.
- Extracts data and populates Excel spreadsheets. Expands multivalue data into separate spreadsheet rows.
- The connection to Pick, and the data selection and downloading processes are simple and seamless.
- Performs Access level queries (Select, List) with conversion and correlative processing rules applied.
- Performs raw data reads.
