No other commercial middle-ware software is required. Connects Apache to Linux MV's and non-MV systems, with a non-persistent connection. Design Web apps with straight PICKBASIC programming (i.e. no need for proprietary language extensions). Generate HTML directly from the application to create a GUI front-end. This is a universal batch submission pass-through to Telnet servers, creating a PHP socket used to impersonate a terminal emulator. It is possible, when the database engine and the webserver are on the same machine, to call the database directly with the PHP shell_exec command. This is simpler than when the web-server and MV system are on different machines and is very fast. Suitable for many database systems with a Telnet socket connection and where the programming language can send "data string" output.
